If someone doesn’t “seem” disabled to you, maybe it’s because they’ve been forced to develop a huge and complex system of coping mechanisms in order to try and survive in an ableist world. It’s probably that.

Never be ashamed of the illness that you are fighting. You didn’t do this to yourself. You have no control over your bodies destructive nature. It’s not your fault that you can’t physically make it to an event, to work or to school.
You’re going to have good days, embrace them. Enjoy the break from all the suffering and use the time to let your true self shine.
